Kelly Clarkson took the stage with her two young children, Remington and River, for a rendition of “Heartbeat Song” that was as joyful as it was tender. As the first notes of the song filled the air, it was clear this performance was more than just a family affair—it was a celebration of love and togetherness.

Kelly Clarkson’s Las Vegas residency, Chemistry: An Intimate Evening with Kelly Clarkson, came to a heartwarming close with an unforgettable surprise on stage. For one of her final performances at Planet Hollywood’s Bakkt Theater, she invited two very special guests—her children, 9-year-old River Rose and 7-year-old Remington (often called Remy B).

As soon as they walked on the stage, the spotlight shifted to them. The duo, eager to join their mom, made a rare appearance on stage. Clarkson, ever the proud mom, revealed that it was her kids’ own idea to join her during the show

“Look, I did good not crying on the first one,” the singer told the crowd. “I can’t promise this one. She’s been jamming to this song since she was a baby. She loves this song so much, so she was like, ‘Can I sing this song?’”

Though initially nervous, Rose quickly gained confidence on stage with her mom’s encouragement. The young singer, who has been listening to the song since she was a baby, was eager to perform “Heartbeat Song.”

“I love you so much. You killed it at sound check!” Clarkson told her daughter. “Are you ready to sing ‘Heartbeat Song?’” With her mom cheering her on, River Rose proved she’s inherited more than just her mother’s looks—she’s got the voice to match.
