Reba McEntire’s fans are buzzing with excitement as rumors swirl about her character’s love life in the upcoming Happy’s Place series. Many are speculating that her character may develop a romantic connection with none other than Rex Linn, her real-life partner. This potential on-screen romance has captured the imagination of viewers who are eager to see if the two will share more than just chemistry in real life.

Happy’s Place has been an incredible success since it premiered on Friday, October 18th. The Reba McEntire-helmed series is a smash hit as fans love to see her back in a sitcom. Though she has been a great presence as a coach on The Voice, she has had two successful sitcoms. Yet, this one allows her to act alongside her partner, Rex Linn. Now, fans are wondering if the series is setting up a love connection between the real-life lovers. Keep reading for more details.

Happy’s Place Reba McEntire’s Character To Fall For Rex Linn?

Reba McEntire may have struck gold with Happy’s Place, a sitcom with heart. She plays Bobbie, whose father passed away and now she runs his bar which the show is named after. Then, out of the blue, she learns he had a much younger sister, Isabella (Belissa Escobedo) whom she was completely unaware of. To add insult to injury, Isabella owns half of the bar so alpha Bobbie, still hurt from her dad’s passing, must find a way to work together. There is an extremely quirky cast of characters as Reba is reunited with Melissa Peterman from the country superstar’s self-titled series.

Along with Melissa and Belissa, Reba’s boyfriend of four years, Rex Linn stars as Emmett. He is the cook who does not say much but is a great sounding board and also does everything and anything around the bar. They have a great connection as best friends and co-workers. However, could this be a potential romance? As Screen Rant pointed out, the two characters have all of the makings of a friendship-turned-something more. Though they did not start dating until 2020, they have been friends for decades.

Before Happy’s Place, Reba McEntire and Rex Linn both were on Young Sheldon. So, working together has not been a problem. As for the characters of Bobbie and Emmett, he appears to be a loner who offers the occasional words of wisdom and then goes about his day. Bobbie lives alone as her daughter is deployed. In the Friday, October 25th episode, she invited  Isabella to come live with her so one lonely night at the bar could lead to love.
