Canadian crooner Michael Bublé has it all – a successful career as an entertainer with numerous hit songs and albums to his name.

But one of his greatest achievements is his marriage to wife of 13 years – actress, singer and model Luisana Lopilato, and the four beautiful children they share.

Just last week, Lopilato gushed over her hubby on Instagram after he received one of Canada’s highest honours.

The singer – whose career began at 18 when he won the Canadian Youth Talent Search – was performing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November 2008, when he met the well-known local actress, who is 12 years his junior.

“They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires,” a friend of the couple told People in 2010.

“The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina’s most famous actress. When he met her, he said it was love at first sight.”

Bublé told Ireland’s RTÉ One in 2012, “I saw her across a room when my security were throwing me in a van.

“My grandfather was with me and I said, ‘You know, Grandpa, that’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and I’m never going to see her again.’”

But he did, just a few hours later. After learning the man she arrived with was just a friend, they got to know each other, despite not speaking the same language.

“She couldn’t speak English, I couldn’t speak Spanish,” he said.

Bublé once told Access Hollywood they relied on technology and bilingual friends to communicate in the early days of their relationship.

“We would use a computer to translate and speak to each other,” he said.

“You know, Grandpa, that’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and I’m never going to see her again”

They later learned each other’s languages.

The two became engaged exactly a year later but the news was only announced the following January.

Bublé later revealed he wrote his 2009 hit song Haven’t Met You Yet about Lopilato, who starred in the music video.

The couple married on March 31, 2011, in a small civil ceremony in Buenos Aires followed by a larger ceremony the following weekend.

A third ceremony was held in Canada two months later.

They revealed in January 2013 they were expecting their first child. Son, Noah, was born in August 2013. Another son, Elias, was born in January 2016.

But their world was shattered months later when Noah, then three, was diagnosed with cancer.

With Bublé on tour, Lopilato had taken the kids to Buenos Aires in late 2016 when he fell ill. Doctors thought he had mumps, before finding “something in his stomach.”

She flew back to the US, where Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer.

The pair announced the diagnosis on Facebook in November that year, writing, “We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well.

“At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

Noah’s treatment ended in March 2017.

When Bublé accepted an award that year, he thanked his wife. “There are no words to describe how I feel about you. Sometimes ‘I love you’ just isn’t enough because what I feel is just so much more.”

The couple announced in February 2018 they were expecting a third child. Daughter Vida arrived in July that year.

He again honoured Lopilato when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame later that year.

“My wife, there’s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we’ve been through. She is my hero and my rock.”

She called him “the most amazing man and father” in an Instagram post to mark his birthday in 2020.

Bublé dedicated his 2022 album to his wife and kids.

“You are my partner, my other half, my strength and my one and perfect lover,” she said.

Bublé marked their 10th wedding anniversary in 2021 with an Instagram post.

“In 10 years of marriage, we’ve been through so much Lu… The good things in life have been better with you, and you’ve helped lift me through some of the hardest times imaginable,” he wrote.

“You’re my way better half, my hero and the light of my life.”

He dedicated his 2022 album Higher to his wife and kids.

“The songs that I wrote were inspired by my family, by my wife and kids. If I can’t be inspired by that beautiful family that I have, I don’t know what would ever inspire me. I’m a lucky man.”

They even used the music video for his hit song I’ll Never Not Love You to reveal they were expecting again, with his wife appearing at the end of the video with her baby bump on display.

“There’s nothing I can really say that can express how I feel about her and what we’ve been through”

They announced the arrival of daughter Cielo in August 2022.

In a 2023 interview with Red, Bublé said “each other’s fulfillment” was the key to their happy marriage.

Bublé and Lopilato are as loved up as ever
“I’m not saying we’re perfect – nobody is – but we both have that understanding. I won’t be touring for certain months next year because she’ll be filming a movie, and so I’ll be Daddy on set, and then she’ll do the same for me.”

He also added, “We don’t care what we do – being together is the goal.”

Bublé, now 49, and Lopilato, 37, live in a $30 million mansion in Vancouver, Canada.

In February, the two attended a ‘magical’ dinner with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Then in November, they looked loved up when she appeared by his side as he received a Horatio Alger Award.
