Michael Bublé, known for his velvety voice and timeless hits, recently opened up about an unexpected twist in his career: how a stomach issue got him fired from a small role on the iconic sci-fi series The X-Files.

Before finding fame as a singer, Michael Buble was earning a crust as an extra and appeared on The X-Files but he was kicked off because of his tummy.

The Home hitmaker has revealed how he was sacked from the show when he was first starting out in Hollywood after playing a member of a submarine crew in one episode.

During an interview with TV Line, Buble revealed how hunger got the better of him and he ended up tucking into some grub that he shouldn’t have.

“I swear to god, I was starving and I grabbed a hot dog off the craft services table. And this woman said I would never work again in Hollywood,” he said.

“I would be blacklisted and I would never, ever work in the business.”

Well, we guess that didn’t exactly turn out the way she thought it would.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that the new X-Files series will be aired on Channel 5.

Following a furious bidding war, the broadcaster secured the rights to broadcast the hugely anticipated return of the iconic sci-fi series.

The six-part series is expected to hit TV screens across the UK early in 2016.

“Securing the UK premiere of the hugely anticipated return of The X-Files is a major coup for the channel and will create one of the television events of 2016,” said Ben Frow, director of programmes at Channel 5. “This acquisition underlines our ambition to deliver a diverse slate of brilliant, must-see programming on Channel 5.”

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will be reprising their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully for the first time in 13 years in the new series..

Opening up about her return, actress Gillian told E! news that at first she was tempted to turn down the chance to reprise Agent Scully.

“When I first heard they wanted to bring X-Files back I was no. No way. No way in hell,” she admitted. “But they came back and said it’d be fun. It’d be really good. So I started thinking, what the heck? But it took me a while!”

When asked whether skeptical Scully would ever start believing in extra terrestrial life forms, she added: “I haven’t thought about it.”

“The Song They’ll Never Forget” — Kelly Clarkson and Her Children’s Tearful Farewell to Brandon Blackstock It began with a whisper.“Father… how can I live without you?…

As the funeral began, Jelly Roll wrapped his arms around a grieving Kelly Clarkson and whispered, “This is a hard time for you and the kids, Kelly. My condolences.” The two stood side by side before Brandon Blackstock’s casket — one a lifelong friend, the other a widow holding on to the last note of a once-forever love. Then, hand in hand, they began to sing “Save Me.” Her voice trembled. Her knees gave out. And midway through the chorus, Kelly broke down, collapsing into Jelly Roll’s shoulder as he finished the song through tears — not just his own, but from every soul in the room. The church was silent. And country music may never forget that moment.
