Miranda Lambert Shocks Vegas Crowd by Crashing Lainey Wilson’s Show for an Epic Unreleased Duet

Miranda Lambert Surprises Crowd At Lainey Wilson Show In Las Vegas – Joins Lainey To Sing A Song They Wrote Together But Haven’t Released

Lainey Wilson treated her fans to a huge surprise during her recent show in Las Vegas. Much to the crowd’s delight, she welcomed Miranda Lambert onstage to perform with her.

Wilson and Lambert go way back.

While Wilson is currently the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year, she traveled a long road to get to that point. She started off living in a camper outside of a record studio, and the studio’s owner helped her make ends meet by paying for her water and electricity.

Now, Wilson’s in a much better spot. But she still has some hard times, and Lambert has always been a person she can rely on to help her through them:

Sometimes it can be lonely because at times you feel like, man, I don’t even know who I could talk to right now that would understand. Miranda is one of those people for me. She’s helped me through a lot. It’s the life on the road part that’s hard. It’s the early mornings, it’s the late nights. Anybody who has lack of sleep, you’re going to start feeling a little bit off.”

Because of their close friendship, it was extra special when Lambert surprised Wilson with the news in 2022 that she won the ACM Award for New Female Artist of the Year.

Considering their friendship, it’s surprising that Wilson and Lambert have never released a duet. But that may change soon!

When Lambert made her recent surprise appearance at Wilson’s Vegas show, the pair performed an unreleased duet titled “Good Horses.”

Lambert shared some context about the collaboration in a post on Instagram. She said:

Thanks for inviting me out to sing with ya @laineywilson. Sure love you sister. Y’all we sang a song we wrote together with @lukedick called Good Horses. First time we have ever done it live and whew did [it give] me the chills. Can’t wait for this one.”
