Kelly Clarkson Has A Way Of Taking A Song And Making It Completely Hers—And Her Latest Kellyoke Performance Proves It Yet Again. The Audience Applauded And Forgot The Original Version.

Kelly Clarkson never fails to amaze fans with her Kellyoke covers—and her latest installment in the series was no exception.

The American Idol alum performed the 2024 song “I Lied, I’m Sorry” by U.K.-based artist Chloe Qisha on the Tuesday, Feb. 18 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Wearing a sleeveless denim dress with a flared skirt and buttons down the front over a white satin dress with a pointed collar, Clarkson moved with the beat as she sang. Her long, honey-blonde hair was parted in the middle and fell past her shoulders.

“In a London house, there’s the loneliest girl,” Clarkson sang, “And a broken boy, and a f–k ton of tension. There’s a police line around a porcelain heart, ’cause she knows what she’s done and slightly regrets it.”

Clarkson’s followers were blown away by her performance, as usual.

“Is there any point in trying to listen to the original of this song? Because this is 🔥,” declared one person.

“Dayum this is so 🔥🔥🔥,” agreed someone else.

“When talent has no limit,” wrote another commenter.

Other Instagram users raved about Clarkson’s dress.

“Of course Kelly’s voice is a power house with everything she sings! No doubt about it, but I love her dress! I’d love to find out the deets,” somebody shared.

“Kelly is so cute, she looks like a school girl, doesn’t she? 😍” gushed another fan.

“❤️ It!! Can’t wait to see you again in Vegas!! Where did you get the dress? 😍” another viewer wanted to know.

Clarkson introduced the popular Kellyoke series in the very first episode of her eponymous talk show, which premiered in September 2019, and it’s been a fan-favorite segment ever since.

“In a London house, there’s the loneliest girl,” Clarkson sang, “And a broken boy, and a f–k ton of tension. There’s a police line around a porcelain heart, ’cause she knows what she’s done and slightly regrets it.”
