It was a scary moment on the speedskating track.

In the sixth quarterfinal head of the women’s 1500 meters, Polish skater Kamila Sellier did not finish after taking a blade to the face in a bloody scene.

Sellier was cut under he left eye as she fell when American skater Kristen Santos-Griswold’s skate caught her up high as they tangled up with Italy’s Arian Fontana.Kamila Sellier của Ba Lan ngã trên băng trong vòng tứ kết nội dung trượt băng tốc độ cự ly ngắn 1.500 mét nữ tại Thế vận hội mùa đông 2026.

The 25-year-old laid in the corner cradling her head above a pool of blood.

The race was delayed for several minutes with 13 laps to go as medics attended to Sellier and attendants cleaned the ice.

Sellier gave the crowd a thumbs-up as she left the ice on a stretcher.

Polish officials said she received stiches before heading to the hospital, than that her eye was OK.

Fontana, a 15-time Olympic medalist from Italy, received treatment on her left hip from her physiotherapist during the stoppage and finished second in the heat to Belgium’s Hanne Desmet.

Neither Sellier nor Santos-Grisworld returned to finish the race, with the American receiving a penalty for an illegal lane pass that contributed to the accident.

Al Wilder. “I still consider them family,” she said. “I still draw on lessons I learned from them.” After everything — the Emmys, the Oscar nomination, decades on Roseanne — the first people she thanked were the ones who knew her before any of it mattered. Some things don’t change, even after 50 years.

And last week, on his new boss’s very first day, he stood up in a staff meeting and said what nobody else would. He told executive producer Nick Bilton he’d “never be welcome here.” He accused CBS chief Bari Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes. But what Pelley claimed they asked him to do behind the scenes — that part changes everything. Within 24 hours, he was handed a termination letter. Fired “for cause.” 37 years, gone in a single page. Then Saturday morning, he posted a photo on Instagram. No anger. Just him at the helm of a sailboat, hands on the wheel, American flag behind him, looking out at open water. His only words: “You are the wind in my sails. So deeply grateful.”
