Dallas Cowboys Reveal 2025 Thanksgiving Game Halftime Performer

After dropping some hints about who would be taking the stage, the Dallas Cowboys revealed the performer for their annual Thanksgiving game halftime show. The event has become a yearly tradition, marking the official launch of The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.

According to a press release, the show “puts a national spotlight on the urgent needs of millions during the holiday season and all year long, adding that it “issues a rallying cry to donate to The Salvation Army’s work in communities nationwide.”

On November 16, it was confirmed that Post Malone would be the featured performer, following in the footsteps of Lainey Wilson (2024) and Dolly Parton (2023). In anticipation of the big game, Post Malone shared:

“I’m from Texas. I grew up a Cowboys fan and have been watching this halftime show for years. It’s a real honor to be part of the Red Kettle Kickoff with The Salvation Army and the Dallas Cowboys and help bring hope to so many people.”

Post Malone’s Personal Connection To The Cowboys Stadium

A Texas native himself, Post Malone has a long history with the Cowboys’ Stadium. Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, told The Athletic:

“He used to come over every night and sleep in [Texas Stadium], when his dad was in charge of all of our beverages, and he slept over there for years, because his mother was working.”

The performance marked a full-circle moment for the “Finer Things” singer.

Post Malone Performs Live

Post Malone took center stage during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game against the Kansas City Chiefs at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on November 27th. He wore a large pin with #94 in honor of defensive end Marshawn Kneeland, who tragically passed away earlier this month.

Sporting custom Cowboys-branded boots, he started things off with “Wrong Ones” from his recent F-1 Trillion album. Next, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders joined him for on the field for “Wow,” which makes reference to the host football team.
