If you’ve been keeping up with Jelly Roll’s health journey over the past year, you know he’s gone through a pretty amazing physical transformation.

The “Save Me” singer has lost more than 200 pounds naturally through diet and exercise. He’s even reached his goal of weighing under 300 pounds, a number he hasn’t seen on the scale since middle school.

At this point, Jelly Roll is nearly unrecognizable. But recently, he did something to change up his look even more.

In a video shared to Instagram, his wife Bunnie XO revealed that he decided to shave off his beard for the first time in 10 years.

“You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now, [and] I have never seen this man without his facial hair. Not one freaking time,” Bunnie said at the start of the video.

She explained that Jelly Roll decided to go completely clean-shaven after finishing a photo shoot earlier that day. And now that he’s lost so much weight, he wants to show off his jawline.

“Look at that freaking jawline… we wanna see that jawline, right, ladies?,” Bunnie said as her husband stood beside her.

From there, Jelly Roll stepped off camera to start shaving. While he did that, Bunnie tried not to look so she could be surprised when he was done.

“I’m not looking. I’m not looking, okay? He tried to just show me… I’m not looking until it’s all done,” she said, later joking that Jelly Roll “just kicked me out of the room.”

Bunnie XO Reacts To Her Husband’s New Look

When he had made a lot of progress, Bunnie reentered the room. She ended up taking a peek when Jelly Roll had trimmed it down to a goatee and then a “cop stache,” and Bunnie admitted she really loved both looks on him.

But when the big reveal of his completely shaved face was finally done, Bunnie was in shock to say the least.

She covered her mouth with her hands and seemed unsure about it.

“The total naked face, it’s not terrible….” she said as her and Jelly Roll couldn’t contain their laughter.

Afterward, they went to surprise some friends and family, since no one knew he was going to do this.

First, Jelly Roll showed his daughter Bailey, who responded by saying, “Oh my God, I’m gonna cry.”

Another reaction he got was when they Facetimed a friend who said, “What the f***? I am scared!”

Bunnie ended up not showing Jelly Roll’s hairless face in the video, though. She later left a comment, telling fans that she’ll let him reveal his new look when he’s ready.

Jelly Roll Finally Reveals His Shaven Face To Fans

After days of waiting, fans finally got their first look at Jelly Roll’s clean-shaven face when he posted a video to his Instagram.

In the clip, he talks about how he really feels about the Grammys and his three nominations this year, but he had to address the elephant in the room first.

“By now you have probably figured out that i look like a ninja turtle,” he joked.

He continued, “One of the reasons I even started growing a beard was because I was so obese, it was just easier to cover up what was happening.”
