The Moment That Sparked a Wake-Up Call
The story takes place back in 2016, when Cyrus was serving as a coach on The Voice alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Alicia Keys. Known for her restless creativity and trademark energy, Miley often balanced songwriting, social media updates, and texts — sometimes even during breaks on set.
But one afternoon, as she scrolled through her phone between takes, Shelton looked over and made a comment that she says “stopped me cold.”
