Glowing Before the Arrival”: Hayley Erbert Cradles Her Baby Bump in LA as She and Derek Hough Count Down the Final Moments Before Meeting Their First Child

Parents-to-be Derek Hough and wife Hayley Erbert beat the heat with refreshing beverages on Thursday.

The couple were spotted enjoying cool drinks – a green beverage for Hayley and coffee for Derek – during an outing in Los Angeles‘ Larchmont Village.

Hayley, 30, accentuated her growing baby bump in a clinging, black Alo bodysuit weeks after announcing she and her husband, 40, are expecting their first child.

The expectant mother rounded out her casual and comfortable look with a pair of white slides as she enjoyed a green drink.

Meanwhile, the former Dancing With the Stars pro — who was just announced as the new host of Extra — wore light gray joggers and a short-sleeved black T-shirt that showed off his bulging biceps.

He added black sneakers and his shiny, short blonde hair was slicked into a pompadour.

On July 26 the lovebirds posted professional black and white photos on Instagram to share their baby news.

The caption of the joint post simply read: ‘Already so loved ❤️.’

It marks a bright new chapter for the pair, after Hayley underwent an emergency medical procedure for cranial hematoma in December 2023.

Last October, nearly one year after the health ordeal, Hayley looked back on her life as she turned 30.

She wrote on Instagram, ‘As I reflect on the past decade, I am filled with so much gratitude for every experience that has shaped me.

‘I was just figuring out my life in Los Angeles, as a young woman; trying to find belonging, navigating uncertainty and discovery.’

The dancer continued, ‘Over the years I found my friends that I call family, my husband, my furry family, my passions, my career, my purpose, and so much more. These were extremely transformative years for me.’

Derek was active on the app on Friday, sharing a shirtless gym selfie as he flexed in a mirror.

As he prepares for fatherhood, he’s also gearing up to take on a new role professionally.

Last week he was revealed as longtime Extra host Billy Bush’s successor.

The TV star — whose sister is Julianne Hough — will take over hosting duties in season 32, premiering on September 8.

It comes after Billy announced his departure from the celebrity news show in May.

Derek stated in a press release: ‘The ballroom has been my stage, my home, and my launchpad. Now, I’m stepping into an exciting new spotlight as the host of Extra.

‘I’m truly looking forward to collaborating with this incredible team, diving into this next creative chapter, and connecting with fans and audiences in a whole new way.’

He added: ‘It’s an honor to join a show that’s been a cornerstone of entertainment news for over 30 years — and I’m ready to help lead it into a bold, fresh new era for Season 32 and beyond.’
