Long before Niall Horan’s return as a coach on The Voice Season 28 alongside Michael Bublé, the former One Direction star took the stage solo to wow a live crowd with a heartfelt performance of Bublé’s hit song “Haven’t Met You Yet.”
During the performance, Niall looked completely in his element, commanding the stage with confidence and charm. As he crooned the romantic tune, fans erupted in cheers and it’s easy to imagine Bublé himself smiling at the smooth vocals and sweet delivery.
It was a reminder of how far Niall has come since his early days as a pop heartthrob. With just a mic and his voice, he delivered a show-stopping version of a classic — no fancy staging needed.

What to Know About “Haven’t Met You Yet” by Michael Bublé
Released in 2009 as part of Michael Bublé’s Crazy Love album, “Haven’t Met You Yet” became one of the singer’s biggest hits. It reached number 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
The song tells the story of someone who believes that love is just around the corner — a hopeful message wrapped in a catchy melody.
In fact, the song has become so beloved over the years that it’s been covered by many artists, including former The Voice coach Nick Jonas, who performed it during a 2012 episode of Smash.
The Voice Season 28: Niall Horan and Michael Bublé Reunite on an “Iconic” Coaching Panel
On May 12, 2025, NBC officially announced its coaching lineup for The Voice Season 28, and fans could not be more excited. The fall season will bring back Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé and joining them once again is Niall Horan.
Social media exploded after the reveal, with fans posting things like “SCREAMING BECAUSE THIS IS THE MOST ICONIC GROUP YET!” and “Niall Horan and Michael Bublé on the same season? This is very yay!”
It marks a major return for Horan, who previously coached Seasons 23 and 24, winning both with contestants Gina Miles and Huntley. He left the show in 2024 to focus on his world tour and to privately grieve the loss of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, who passed away in October.
Even Michael Bublé joined in on the excitement online, commenting, “My favourite Horan is back!! It’s the return of the Irish king! The world is healing.”
