Here’s everything you need to know.

NBC said the special will air later this year and stream on Peacock the following day, though an official air date has not yet been announced.
According to the network, the broadcast will feature highlights from the sold-out Nashville concert and celebrate Jackson’s more than three decades of hits, including songs that helped define modern country music.

Who is performing at Alan Jackson’s final Nashville concert?
In addition to Jackson, a star-studded lineup will pay tribute to him during the Nashville show.
Performers include Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Lainey Wilson, and Lee Ann Womack, along with Adam Wright, Big City Brian Wright, and Carlisle Wright.

Why is Alan Jackson retiring?
The 67-year-old Grammy-winning country artist announced his retirement from touring in May 2025 during the final stop of his “Last Call: One More for the Road” tour at Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum.
Since 2011, Jackson has battled Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of inherited neurological disorders that affect the nerves connecting the brain and spinal cord to the rest of the body.
The disease, which runs in Jackson’s family, has affected his ability to move and maintain balance while performing. Although it is generally not fatal, it progresses slowly and causes muscle weakness and loss of sensation in the extremities.
“I just felt like I had to end it all where it all started, and that’s in Nashville, Tennessee,” Jackson said in Milwaukee. “I’ve got to do my last one there.”
“It’s been a long, sweet ride. It started 40 years ago this September. My wife and I drove to Nashville with an old U-Haul trailer and chased this dream,” Jackson continued. “It’s been a crazy ride. I lived the American dream, for sure. I’m so blessed. Thank you all so much for supporting my music and attending my shows.”
For every ticket sold to Jackson’s farewell concert, $1 will be donated to the CMT Research Foundation, an organization that funds research to find a cure for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
