Erin Napier Has a Suggestion for Insurance Company After Hotel Fire: ‘It’s a No-Brainer’Home Town Stars Erin & Ben Napier Reveal Huge Hotel Project in Laurel. Details #hgtv

Erin Napier is not only hoping the insurance company behind The Heirloom Hotel does the right thing. The “Home Town: Inn This Together” star seemingly has a suggestion for the company.

Erin Napier to Liberty Mutual

Following the season finale of the HGTV star’s spinoff series, fans took to social media pleading with Liberty Mutual do to the right thing.

One fan commented on Napier’s Instagram post, writing, “[Liberty Mutual] should stop making stupid commercials and should use the [Heirloom Hotel] as a gigantic marketing opportunity.”

The follower continued, “The goodwill opportunity is HUGE. Sponsor the comeback episodes and the partnership with The Heirloom! It’s a no-brainer! Pay them!”

Napier seemingly agreed with the fan’s stance as she responded, with a red heart and a clapping emoji.

Other fans were clearly on the same page as many chimed in with encouraging words.

“This is a PR moment you don’t want to flub. Every one is watching,” another fan wrote, tagging the insurance company.

A third wrote, “I was so upset to watch the show and see the devastation of the fire. My heart hurts for Laurel. Praying that [Liberty Mutual] pays the claim and quickly. America is watching.”

Erin Napier Pleads With Insurance Company

The “Home Town” star shared a heartfelt plea with Liberty Mutual to do “the right thing” after a landmark in her hometown burned down.

“I am writing on behalf of my friends who own The Heirloom Hotel in Laurel, Mississippi. You may have seen this hotel on the HGTV show, ‘Home Town.’” 11-year-old Amos Sledge wrote in a handwritten letter to the company, which Napier shared with her 1.5 million followers.

The letter continued, “This show has not only affected the small town of Laurel, but has changed the lives of many across the nation. What you may not know is that this gorgeous hotel burned to the ground late last year. Liberty Mutual is their insurance company.”

“Our country has been in a hard time lately. This hotel and this show have shown truth and beauty, and what hardwork and true friendship can do. As of right now, your company has not approved [their] claim to have the money to rebuild. It is heartbreaking to watch the show and see how hard they worked. They put it all on the line. I am writing to ask respectfully that you please approve their claim. This is your chance to prove Liberty Mutual is different,” Sledge pleaded.

He concluded, “This is not about any little town, but a town that is a beacon of light for our nation. If you do the right thing, it will keep the light shining.”

The Heirloom Hotel in Laurel, Mississippi — which is owned by the Napiers’ best friends — burned down in August 2025. Today, more than 10 months after the devastating fire, the owners, along with their community, are fighting for the insurance company to help with the cost of the damage.

“Yes! I hope they realize the giant opportunity Mr Sledge just gave them! ❤️🙌 well done young man,” one follower commented on Napier’s plea.
