I THINK ABOUT IT A LOT” – Riley Green Just Dropped A Heart-Wrenching Confession About Wanting To Be A Dad

Riley Green On Becoming a Dad One Day: ‘I Think About It a Lot’

Riley Green is at the top of his game right now, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t thought about slowing down… one day.

Riley Green Has Thought About Becoming a Dad

In a chat with Billboard, the country hitmaker shares that fatherhood is definitely something he sees in his future.

“I think about it a lot,” he says while explaining that being an uncle and having dogs are preparing him for that day.

That day, however, might be quite a bit down the road. Green’s schedule has certainly ramped up with acting, hosting and even coaching on the next season of The Voice. His ever-growing to-do list makes it hard to start a family.

“At this point in my life, I don’t know how I could do it,” he admits. “So things are going to have to slow down and get a little bit more of a sense of normalcy before I could really think about settling down and having a family.”

“But it’s definitely something I’d like to do, and I’m somewhat excited about where my songwriting would go with that much of a change in my life, too.”

Is Riley Green Dating Anyone?

While much of Green’s personal life remains private for the most part, he did reveal in December 2025 that he wasn’t dating anyone at the time.

“I’m rumored to have dated a lot of people,” he told Country Nights with Bev Rainey at the time. “I kind of understand that. People always long for that Tim and Faith, Johnny and June, George and Tammy thing.”

The “Think As You Drunk” singer was referring to people’s infatuation with pairing him up with his duet partner Ella Langley. But he’s also been linked with another artist — Megan Moroney — although the two never addressed the rumors.

“I find out who I’m dating weekly on social media.”

For now, it appears Green is dating his career, and he’s taking every opportunity he can to nurture that relationship.

“I know that it will end at some point,” he points out to Billboard. “I mean, it’s such a battle to stay relevant in this world.”

“I’ve got more opportunity now than I’ve ever had,” he continues. “There will come a time when that’s not the case. So it’s just keep your foot on the gas as long as you can.”
