Matty Juniosa eyes bigger stage after fourth-place finish in ‘BGT’

Filipino singer Matty Juniosa is setting his sights on new horizons after finishing fourth in Britain’s Got Talent, declaring that his journey on the global stage is far from over.
In a social media post following the finals, Juniosa reflected on a breakthrough run that earned him international recognition and two Golden Buzzers.

“Hey everyone, just catching up post #BGTLiveFinals and wanted to say a few words of gratitude. I am so proud to have represented the Philippines and Glasgow in a show I grew up watching and one of the biggest stages in the world,” he wrote.
Juniosa also thanked supporters who followed him from the auditions to the live finals.
“So I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who has shown so much support throughout this journey, from the auditions, to the semifinals, and to the finals. It has been such a time of my life,” he said.
The singer then teased what lies ahead.

“I am so, so, so thankful that I have reached the people all over the world that I needed to reach, and this is just the beginning. We’ve got plans coming through very, very soon, which I can’t wait to reveal to all of you,” he said.
Adding to the momentum, Juniosa announced that he will join Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium later this year.
