Country star Ella Langley has been slammed on social media after photos surfaced of her showing support for MAGA.
A post shared on X on Saturday, May 23, saw Ella, 27, spark a debate when images showed her posing in front of a Confederate flag and holding a Trump-Pence 2016 campaign banner. Claims were also made that she had liked a 2016 post about Trump from one of her close friends.
The upload claimed, “Welp, someone sent me these two screenshots. Ella Langley liking one of her bffs posts about Trump in 2016 (friend has apparently been in her music videos) and then Ella posing in front of a confederate flag in 2018. Yikes on bikes.” The claims come after Ella displayed signs of tension with fellow country star Riley Green.
Fans seeing the post then rushed to the comments to discuss what they had seen. One wrote, “Not a single non-MAGA celebrity has said anything nice about Kid Rock in the last 2 years.
“And definitely none of them will ever even consider performing with his MAGA ass. She’s def MAGA.”

A second said, “Ella Langley being Maga would not surprise me in the slightest. It’s in these country singers DNA, these are the same group of people who got mad cause Beyoncé was at the CMA’s and won a Grammy for a country album.”
A third posted, “It’s okay to be friends with or like the music of people who have different political beliefs or vote for different candidates than us. Just because someone likes one of their policies, it doesn’t mean they like every policy of that candidate. About 1/2 of people are in each side.”
A fourth shared, “I’ll do you one better, do you have ANY photos of her posing with confederate flag recently or you’re just obsessed with her photos when she was a teen?
“My guess is from where she grow up confederate flags was seen as common hence the photo. Again, this was almost a decade AGO,” they added.
A fifth added, “Who the actual f— cares anymore? Her music is good. Either enjoy her music, or don’t. I like my friends posts even when they’re not my cup of tea. I usually like them because my friend looks good. It’s called being a friend. Stop being chronically online.”
It is worth noting that Ella hasn’t publicly declared her political stances.
Ella has attracted plenty of attention in recent months after her hit Choosin’ Texas set a new benchmark on the Billboard charts. The song claimed the record for the most weeks ever spent atop the Hot 100 by a female artist who also hit No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
The achievement was notable, as she officially surpassed Taylor Swift’s previous record of three weeks with her 2012 hit We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
