Blake Shelton continues to show his unwavering support for his wife, Gwen Stefani, following the release of her brand-new single, “True Babe.”

The country superstar has been busy working on his farm in Oklahoma, but that didn’t stop him from playing Stefani’s new song. In fact, he switched up some of the “True Babe” lyrics as he removed a dead tree from his property.

“Playing the SHIT out of @gwenstefani’s new song “True Babe”!!! Even writing new lyrics!!” Shelton captioned the clip.

“Take the truck and cut up this tree, up this tree,” he sings in the video.

Stefani was quick to respond to Shelton’s version of the song.

“Greatest rewrite ever!!! Wish I would have thought of that!!!🤣😂🤣😂 dang it I love u,” she sweetly shared.

Shelton also encouraged his fans to check out “True Babe” and shared his pride for her new release.

“My wife put out a new song today… you know… THE GWEN STEFANI!!!!!!! Go listen people!!!! It’s a hit!!!!! I’m so proud of you @gwenstefani,” he wrote.

“True Babe,” which was co-written by Stefani alongside Jacob Kasher, Jakob Hazell, Svante Halldin, Luka Kloser & Nicole Rubio, finds the No Doubt singer gushing over her husband.

“’Cause it’s true, babe, true, babe / I’m sleeping better next to you, babe, you, babe / You’re something sweet, something true, babe, true, babe / You do it better than they do, babe, uh-huh,” Stefani sings.

Produced by Swedish duo Jack & Coke and Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft, who goes by the moniker KThrash, “True Babe” marks Stefani’s first new single since 2021’s “Slow Clap.”

The tune is slated to appear on Gwen Stefani’s forthcoming fifth studio album, which has yet-to-be announced but is expected to be released sometime this year. The upcoming project will serve as the follow-up to her 2016 album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like.

Gwen Stefani delivered the live debut of “True Babe” during her performance at Warwick Castle on June 23 in the United Kingdom.

The release of “True Babe” comes just weeks after it was revealed that Stefani would be returning to her red chair on NBC’s The Voice alongside coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan and John Legend.

Gwen Stefani recently rang in Blake Shelton’s 47th birthday on June 18, which also happened to be Father’s Day, and the couple celebrated with Stefani’s children on Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch.

“Happy bday and Father’s Day, @blakeshelton <3 I love u more than anything,” Stefani wrote at the time.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will celebrate their second wedding anniversary on July 3.

The superstar couple tied the knot after six years together during an intimate ceremony in front of their closest family and friends on July 3, 2021. The elegant Carson Daly-officiated ceremony took place inside a chapel on Shelton’s ranch, built exclusively for the superstar couple to say their “I Do’s.”

Shelton and Stefani got engaged in late October of 2020 in Shelton’s hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma. They first met as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, following both of their public breakups. The superstar couple began dating in November 2015, just a year after working together as coaches on The Voice.

The couple has gone on to release four duets together throughout their relationship thus far.
