“MIRANDA LAMBERT SKIPPED THE CARPET… THEN HAD THE ENTIRE ACM CROWD WATCHING HER” 😳🔥 Miranda Lambert made one of the night’s most talked-about entrances at the 2026 ACM Awards after quietly skipping the red carpet and heading straight to the stage for her performance of “Crisco.” Dressed in sparkling denim and her signature cowboy hat, the country superstar instantly took control of the arena the moment the music started.

Miranda Lambert is showing us how the country gals do it!

The singer returned to the Academy of Country Music Awards stage, this time in Las Vegas, on Sunday, May 17. After skipping the red carpet, she pulled off a blinged-out look for her performance.

Singing her new song “Crisco,” Lambert, 42, sparkled on the stage in a double-denim look complete with a rhinestone top and studded mini jean skirt. She paired her outfit with an embellished white hat, matching cowboy boots and head-turning jewelry, including a spotlight-stealing necklace and earrings.

Her glam was made camera-ready by celebrity makeup artist Dee Daly, who prepped Lambert’s skin using Aeston West and sculpting facial techniques.

Lambert skipped the carpet and headed straight to the stage, but that didn’t stop her from making an outfit change. Later in the night, she made an acceptance speech in honor of Ella Langley’s winning song “Choosin’ Texas,” which she co-wrote, in a rose-inspired dress.

While surrounded by her industry friends, Lambert also earned support from her husband Brendan McLoughlin, who wore all black for their date night. They made their debut at the event in 2019.

The couple secretly tied the knot on Jan. 26, 2019, at a farm just outside of Nashville. To mark their seventh wedding anniversary on Jan. 26, the couple posted several photos of themselves together in a joint carousel on Instagram.

“Cheers to 7 years @brendanjmcloughlin 💍🩵🐴🐶,” Lambert wrote in the caption.

McLoughlin and Lambert met on the set of Good Morning America in November 2018. At the time, McLoughlin was an NYPD officer providing security for the daily news program where Lambert performed with her band, the Pistol Annies. They quickly hit it off — and ended up saying “I do” less than three months after their initial meeting. Lambert publicly announced their marriage in February 2019.

Back in October for McLoughlin’s 34th birthday, Lambert gushed on Instagram that her husband is “the best.” McLoughlin returned the love the following month for Lambert’s 42nd birthday, saying she’s “the most loving, talented and caring person” he’s ever met.

The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Shania Twain, are streaming live on Prime Video from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
