Carrie Underwood’s $140M Fortune, But She Still Lives Like One of Us

Grammy-winning superstar. Country icon. Multi-millionaire. But when the lights go down… she’s making homemade snacks and growing her own veggies. Yep, really.

With a net worth soaring past $140 million, you’d think Carrie Underwood would be living a life filled with luxury, designer labels, and over-the-top indulgence. But the truth? Carrie is as down-to-earth as they come — and fans are falling even more in love with her because of it.

At home in Tennessee, Carrie shares a peaceful life with her husband, former NHL player Mike Fisher, and their two sons, Isiah (9) and Jacob (5). Their favorite moments? Simple things. A walk outside. Laughing with the kids. Just being together, unplugged from the spotlight.

“TruFru Is Too Dang Expensive” – Carrie’s Money-Saving Snack Hack

Carrie recently surprised fans by sharing a clever trick on her Instagram Stories. Her family had developed a serious love for TruFru — a popular (and pricey!) chocolate-covered, freeze-dried fruit snack.

So what did Carrie do? Instead of continuing to splurge, she started making her own at home!

“The TruFru addiction has gotten out of hand at our house,” she joked.
“It’s so dang expensive, so I started making my own.”

Alongside her words was a sweet photo of her homemade batch — proving that even a global superstar knows the value of a dollar.

A Country Queen with a Farmer’s Touch

Carrie’s simplicity isn’t just for show. On her massive 400-acre ranch in Tennessee, she actually grows her own producepickles and preserves vegetables, and even makes her own yogurt. It’s not just a hobby — it’s how she connects with herself and her roots.

Despite juggling a packed schedule, including a Las Vegas residency, she’s never more at peace than when she’s home.

“My least favorite part of touring is being away from home,” she told fellow country star Jimmie Allen.
“I’m such a homebody. I don’t like vacations. I don’t like going places. I just want to be home.”

No Glam Squad? No Problem.

Even when it comes to red carpets and concerts, Carrie prefers doing her own hair and makeup. She finds joy in the process — and stays grounded by keeping control over her look.

Balancing Fame with Family

While Carrie enjoys the quiet life, Mike Fisher is more of a social butterfly.

“I would literally never leave my house,” she admitted in an interview with Apple Music Country.
“I get nervous in crowds… he’s got a million friends. We’re always hanging out with them. So yeah, we balance each other out.”

Real, Raw, and Relatable

Carrie Underwood might live in the spotlight, but behind the scenes, she’s planting vegetables, saving money, and doing her own eyeliner — just like the rest of us.

And in a world full of celebrities flaunting wealth, Carrie’s humble heart is what truly makes her shine.

THEY FIRED HIM ON A TUESDAY. BY SATURDAY, HE WAS SMILING ON A SAILBOAT. Scott Pelley spent 37 years at CBS News. He anchored the Evening News. He reported from war zones. He won dozens of Emmys. And last week, on his new boss’s very first day, he stood up in a staff meeting and said what nobody else would. He told executive producer Nick Bilton he’d “never be welcome here.” He accused CBS chief Bari Weiss of “murdering” 60 Minutes. But what Pelley claimed they asked him to do behind the scenes — that part changes everything. Within 24 hours, he was handed a termination letter. Fired “for cause.” 37 years, gone in a single page. Then Saturday morning, he posted a photo on Instagram. No anger. Just him at the helm of a sailboat, hands on the wheel, American flag behind him, looking out at open water. His only words: “You are the wind in my sails. So deeply grateful.”
