American Idol Season 24 contestants Brooks and Rae appear to still be going strong after Brooks was eliminated from the competition during this week’s show. The couple hard launched their relationship on the show’s stage earlier this month.

Earlier this month, singer Rae was eliminated from the American Idol Season 24 competition during Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. The following week, Rae returned to the show’s stage for Disney Night, as she hard launched her relationship with fellow contestant Brooks.

Unfortunately, Brooks was eliminated during this week’s episode, during which he dedicated his performance of “She Will Be Loved” by Maroon 5 to Rae. Based on social media posts, the couple is still going strong after both of their eliminations.

Brooks posted a black and white photo of himself and Rae on his Instagram stories. Rae also posted a cute photo of the two of them on her own stories, along with a few snaps of her with other people in her life. She captioned the post, “ppl I love.”

A fan on the American Idol subreddit posted the photo of Brooks and Rae from Instagram, calling them “cuties.” Other fans chimed in to share their thoughts on the couple, with one person writing, “They actually do make such a sweet lovely couple. I wish them all the best for a happy healthy relationship.”

Another fan wrote, “Love them both so much.” While someone else commented that they thought Brooks looked “uncomfortable” in the photo, the original poster responded, “I think he looks relaxed and happy.”
