Adam Levine confirms his return to The Voice and teases surprise big names for the red chairs in season 30

ADAM Levine has announced that he’ll be back for another season of coaching on The Voice – and other stars are reportedly in talks to join him.

NBC is looking to get big names back in the red chairs for the show’s landmark 30th season.

Adam joined the singing competition show in season 1 alongside fellow judges Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera.

After departing The Voice in 2019 with 16 seasons as a coach under is belt, the Maroon 5 frontman has returned sporadically to the show.

He just clinched a win with Alexia Jayy on season 29, his fourth victory on the show.

“I’m having so much fun doing it. Since I came back a few seasons ago it’s just been a blast and I’m super happy to keep it going as long as they’ll have me,” Adam told People.

Kelly Clarkson and John Legend also appeared as judges on the latest season of The Voice.

NBC execs are eyeing four iconic coaches to make a return for season 30: Adam, Kelly, Blake and Gwen Stefani, a production source told The U.S. Sun.

“For season 30, they want to go big since it will be a milestone year. Though the lineup isn’t finalized yet since filming for 30 won’t start until late Spring/early Summer 2026,” the source said.

“There’s still time for changes and still all of season 29 to get through.

Why Blake Shelton Is Leaving The Voice

“But the producers are trying to lock in a deal to get Blake and Adam back together, they’ve wanted that for years and think 30 is an opportune time to make it happen,” the insider explained.

The two singers were known for their bromance when they overlapped as coaches from season 1 to 16.

“And it would be great to make it a full family affair with Gwen part of it too. Kelly would make the most sense to round out that foursome so that’s the 4th person in talks,” the insider continued.

Season 29 had only three coaches for the first time in the show’s history, but producers are reportedly looking to move back to a four coach format.

“So if producers get their way, 30 will be Adam, Blake, Gwen, and Kelly. Nothing is official yet though,” the source said.

“The biggest challenge is getting Blake and Gwen back at all, it’s most likely going to cost the show a fortune to make that happen.

Four judges, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, and Blake Shelton, on "The Voice."

“And also booking Kelly on back-to-back seasons with her busy schedule and tough year. A lot of moving parts but they want to make it work.”

Kelly hosts her own daytime talk show on NBC, and has been on The Voice on and off since joining the show in 2018 for season 14.

Blake was the longest running coach, joining the show in the first season and leaving after season 23.

Gwen first joined season 7 of The Voice and has appeared periodically since then.

Other than Adam, no current or prospective judge has announced their plans for the upcoming season.
