No One Expected What Happened In That Small Nashville Room As Morgan Wallen Suddenly Brought Ella Langley Onstage For A Surprise Duet That Turned A Quiet Launch Event Into An Unforgettable Live Moment Fans Are Still Talking About

Morgan Wallen Brings Ella Langley Onstage For Unexpected Collaboration

A small audience of country fans recently had the pleasure of witnessing an unannounced duet between Morgan Wallen and Ella Langley.

Wallen appeared at The Pinnacle in Nashville on Thursday (April 2) to celebrate the upcoming launch of his new SiriusXM channel on April 7. The launch party was a much more intimate affair than Wallen’s usual shows, with only a few thousand people in attendance.

A highlight of the night was when Wallen welcomed a surprise duet partner to the stage. As you can surely guess by now, that person was Ella Langley!

Wallen and Langley joined forces to deliver a scaled-back rendition of Wallen’s “Sand in My Boots.” The track was the third single Wallen released from 2021’s Dangerous: The Double Album.

Everyone in the crowd was understandably thrilled to witness a collaboration between Wallen and Langley. They’ve performed together before, since Langley toured with Wallen in 2025. She’ll join him on a few more dates on his Still the Problem Tour this year.

If you weren’t one of the lucky people who got to see Wallen and Langley’s surprise duet, you’re in luck. The Pinnacle shared a short video of the two singers uniting to sing “Sand in My Boots.” You can hear the crowd cheer near the end, prompting a smile from Langley.

Head below to watch Wallen and Langley sing together in that clip and in a second, fan-filmed video.

Ella Langley Is Gearing Up To Release Her New Album Next Week

The next week is going to be an eventful one for Langley. She’s set to release her sophomore studio album, Dandelion, on Friday, April 10.

Langley just revealed the album’s entire tracklist on April 2. The record features 18 songs, including a duet with Miranda Lambert and a cover of Kitty Wells’ “It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels.”

Dandelion includes the pre-released tracks “Be Her,” “Dandelion,” “Loving Life Again,” and the hit single “Choosin’ Texas.” The latter song just got the music video treatment, with Langley releasing a star-studded clip featuring Yellowstone and Marshals actor Luke Grimes as her love interest.

Other celebrities who appear in the video include Ava Phillippe, Kaitlin Butts, Miranda Lambert, and J.B. Mauney. (Fun Fact: Lambert co-wrote “Choosin’ Texas” with Langley, Luke Dick, and Joybeth Taylor).

Watch the video for “Choosin’ Texas” below. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll see Wallen in one of Langley’s videos, or vice versa!
