John Legend’s Daughter Luna gave fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at The Voice in a delightful video

John Legend’s Daughter Luna Is “Coming” for Carson Daly’s Job on The Voice.

The 9-year-old gave fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at The Voice in a delightful Instagram video.

Don’t look now, Carson Daly: Your job as the longtime Host of The Voice may be in jeopardy!

How to Watch

Watch The Voice Mondays at 9/8c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

Daly’s possible replacement? None other than Coach John Legend’s 9-year-old daughter, Luna. In a March 23 Instagram video shared by Legend, Luna took fans backstage at The Voice: Battle of Champions and showed off her impressive interviewing skills — and it was equal parts adorable and informative!

“Luna’s coming for your job @carsondaly,” Legend captioned playfully.

“Hi, my name is Luna, and I’m gonna follow everybody around interviewing them,” she told fans at the video’s start.

And then she was off, utilizing a plastic fork as a makeshift microphone. Luna made the rounds, conducting on-the-spot interviews with The Voice‘s social media content team, associate director Jay Ostrowski — affectionately called “The Boss” — and other crew members.

“I run the show here,” Ostrowski said. “Just ask your dad.”

“He’s your boss? I thought you were the boss,” Legend’s son, Miles, said to his dad just off-camera in a hilarious moment

Luna even ran into the other Coaches competing this season on The Voice: Battle of Champions, Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson.

“Excellent work — very professional,” Levine told the future Host as he and Clarkson each gave Luna a much-deserved fist-bump.

Up next for Luna? A candid conversation with her brother, who was rocking some seriously cool hair. For the record, Miles’ favorite color is blue, his favorite ice cream flavors are chocolate and vanilla, and his favorite animal is a fox.

From there, the video concluded with an interview with her dad — from his Coach chair — as he explained how the Battles work before Luna hung out with Clarkson and Levine. All in all, it was a sweet video — and Luna may have a future in the business, after all.

Of course, Luna’s expert interviewing skills caught the attention of Daly himself, who couldn’t help but chime in.

“Wow! Slow down, Luna! I have mouths to feed! 😂😉,” Daly commented jokingly.
