This was the song Hale performed in her original audition for AGT Season 12, earning four “yes” votes from the judges. She went on to receive the Golden Buzzer during the Judge Cuts, and made it all the way to the finale, finishing in second place behind winner Darci Lynne Farmer.

Now 18, Hale still sounds amazing on her new rendition of the song, and her voice blends beautifully with Picone’s. It’s easy to see why Hale currently has 1.6 million followers on the platform, as fans want to follow what she’s up to nearly 10 years after her debut on AGT.

In 2019, Hale returned to the Got Talent stage for AGT: The Champions, where she earned yet another Golden Buzzer for her first performance. Her rendition of “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten inspired judge Howie Mandel to do the honors, sending her straight to the finale.

Hale didn’t end up winning Champions, but she’s still had an impressive career, releasing several singles and EPs and making her Broadway debut in Boop! The Musical last year.
