In the sixth quarterfinal head of the women\u2019s 1500 meters, Polish skater Kamila Sellier did not finish after taking a blade to the face in a bloody scene.<\/p>\n

Sellier was cut under he left eye as she fell when American skater Kristen Santos-Griswold\u2019s skate caught her up high as they tangled up with Italy\u2019s Arian Fontana.\"Kamila<\/p>\n

The 25-year-old laid in the corner cradling her head above a pool of blood.<\/p>\n

The race was delayed for several minutes with 13 laps to go as medics attended to Sellier and attendants cleaned the ice.<\/p>\n

Sellier gave the crowd a thumbs-up as she left the ice on a stretcher.<\/p>\n
