Devlin \u201cDuck\u201d Hodges, Lainey Wilson\u2019s fianc\u00e9, supported her at the CMA Awards on November 19. Before the wedding, the pair posed for numerous loving pictures while walking the red carpet together.<\/p>\n

Wilson had the honor of hosting the\u00a0CMA Awards<\/em>\u00a0this year. She was only the third woman to host the event solo, following in the footsteps of\u00a0Reba McEntire\u00a0and\u00a0Dolly Parton.<\/p>\n

She also performed twice, first singing\u00a0a medley of other artists\u2019 hit songs\u00a0and later performing one of her own tunes,\u00a0\u201cRing Finger.\u201d<\/p>\n

The night was exciting enough for Wilson, but it got even better after she won not one, not two, but three awards!\u00a0She took home the trophies for Album of the Year (for\u00a0Whirlwind<\/em>), Female Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019mma be honest with y\u2019all,\u201d\u00a0<\/em>she said in her speech.\u00a0\u201cI was just so tickled to be here hosting this thing tonight. I just came into here just wanting to celebrate country music, the love of my life, and I know the love of so many of y\u2019all\u2019s lives<\/em>.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She also seemingly hinted at\u00a0her and Hodges\u2019 wedding plans, addressing him in her speech and saying, \u201cWe\u2019re getting married next year, come on now!<\/em>\u201c<\/p>\n

Hodges was one proud fella after watching his fianc\u00e9e thrive at the\u00a0CMA Awards.<\/em>\u00a0Following the ceremony, he shared a sweet post celebrating her wins and hosting role, calling her \u201can inspiration<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c@laineywilson, thank you for being you<\/em>,\u201d he gushed. \u201cYou are such an inspiration and role model for so many, including this guy right here. Absolutely CRUSHED it as a host. This girl right here y\u2019all LOVES country music and loves this community and thank you all who love her back!<\/em>\u201c<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hodges ended his post on a humorous note, writing, \u201cIt\u2019s duck season now. See ya in February babe<\/em>.\u201d (Hey, he got the nickname \u201cDuck\u201d for a reason!)<\/p>\n
