Don\u2019t change that channel, but do adjust your schedule.\u00a0The Voice<\/i>\u00a0has an upcoming schedule adjustment you need to be aware of. So far for Season 28, the show has aired twice a week, on Monday and Tuesday nights. Things will be slightly different going froward, but we have all the details here.<\/p>\n There are four all-new elements to the show in Season 28, beginning with the Blinds, as Carson Daly will be given his first-ever Carson Callback Card. The Carson Callback Card allows the host to surprise a deserving artist of his choice who receives no chair turns with a second chance at the blind auditions.<\/p>\n In the Battles, the coaches will call upon their artists to form their own battle pairs. Previously, the coaches would choose who goes head-to-head in the round.<\/p>\n During the Knockouts, each coach will be given a Mic Drop button to be used on a contestant on their very own team that impresses them. From there, viewers at home will have the opportunity to vote for the Mic Drop winner among the hosts. The contestant with the most votes will be awarded a performance at The Rose Parade Presented by Honda on Jan. 1, 2026.<\/p>\n During the Playoffs, each coach will select one contestant from their team to advance to the Lives. Viewers will vote on the fifth and sixth finalist. Last season, each coach got to choose two contestants to advance to the Lives.<\/p>\n The judges have some stake in the game. Bubl\u00e9 is returned after two back-to-back wins on Seasons 27 and 26. Horan returned after winning Seasons 23 and 24. McEntire made her coaching debut on Season 24 and became a coach on Seasons 25 and 26. She won Season 25. As always, episodes are available the next day on Peacock. There are no new episodes on Tuesdays.<\/p>\n The next new Tuesday episode will be on Tuesday, December 16. You always end up sending a great singer home!\u00a0\u201cYou know what\u2019s amazing, you guys?\u201d\u00a0the reigning champion Coach told the in-studio audience. \u201cThat online, no matter what I choose, we\u2019re gonna get killed for making the wrong choice. There\u2019s gonna be 50 percent of the people that say, \u2018You idiot!’\u201d<\/p>\n Still, Bubl\u00e9 sees no downsides to the show, for him or for the Artists. \u201cThere\u2019s literally not one negative part [of the show],\u201d Bubl\u00e9\u00a0told\u00a0NBC Insider<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>after his first season. \u201cThis is about the Artists, for the Artists. It\u2019s not about us\u2026There\u2019s a reason why we\u2019ve come and gone, and the people in the red seats change, but the show stays successful. It\u2019s because they\u2019ve made sure that they are so protective of the Artists.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cMy favorite part about it,\u201d he added, \u201cwas when I had to let people go for the first time, I was upset about it. Until I realized that their lives had changed. Until I realized that their careers had started. They started to create a business that could go on\u2026just from being on this massive TV program that has 7 to 11 million people watching all over the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n McEntire has a similarly positive attitude. \u201cEvery day that we\u2019re working on\u00a0The Voice,<\/em>\u00a0I\u2019m learning more from [the Coaches] how to let [Artists] down easy if they don\u2019t get picked up,\u201d she\u00a0told\u00a0Newsweek<\/em>\u00a0during her first season. \u201cLike, if none of the Coaches turn around, they\u2019re going home immediately.
