Finding Love and a Favorite Season<\/h3>\n

Stefani, who first joined\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0in 2014, has served as Coach for Team Gwen over eight nonconsecutive seasons, including Seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, 22, 24, and 26. In January 2025, during an appearance on\u00a0TODAY<\/em>, Stefani was asked to pick her favorite season. Her answer came with a trademark grin:
\n\u201cFavorite season of The Voice? The season I got to kiss Blake.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The \u201cBlake\u201d in question, of course, is country superstar Blake Shelton\u2014her now-husband, whom she met on the show. Stefani previously admitted that \u201cme and Blake were falling in love the third season\u201d she coached. Reflecting on the journey, she\u2019s called Shelton \u201ca magical person\u201d and credited\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0for delivering a life-changing surprise. \u201cLife is just full of surprises,\u201d she told Hoda Kotb and Andy Cohen back in 2019.<\/p>\n

A Romance Born On Stage<\/h3>\n

Interestingly, when Stefani first joined the singing competition, she had no idea who Shelton was. In a 2022 conversation with NBC Insider, she admitted,
\n\u201cI didn\u2019t know that Blake even existed really in the world.\u201d<\/strong>
\nBut, she added, \u201cI did my homework and I could see that he was an amazing songwriter, and then I could see everybody falling in love with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shelton himself has echoed these sentiments, telling\u00a0Entertainment Weekly<\/em>\u00a0in 2023 that meeting Stefani was his \u201cfavorite\u201d part of his long\u00a0Voice<\/em>\u00a0run. \u201cI couldn\u2019t even begin to tell you what my favorite memory was,\u201d he said. \u201cBut my favorite thing that\u2019s happened and developed was I met my wife on this show.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Special Wedding, A Special Friend<\/h3>\n

After years of friendship, mentorship, and playful rivalry on the red chairs, Stefani and Shelton made it official in an intimate Oklahoma wedding on July 3, 2021. Adding to the\u00a0Voice<\/em>\u00a0family affair, longtime host and friend Carson Daly officiated the ceremony. \u201cWe knew we wanted it to be intimate, small,\u201d Stefani told\u00a0Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/em>\u00a0in 2022, explaining why Daly was the perfect choice. \u201cHe is an amazing guy, I love him. He\u2019s such a good dad, a family guy\u2026 I just wanted it to be serious, and I wanted someone who is in our spiritual circle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daly, for his part, shared on Instagram how \u201chonored\u201d he was to marry two of his closest friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cHome\u201d on The Voice<\/h3>\n

After years, many seasons, and even a trophy,\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0still means something special to Stefani. \u201cEvery time I step on this stage, The Voice does feel like home to me,\u201d she reflected in a behind-the-scenes video in 2023.<\/p>\n
