We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family\u2019s privacy during this very difficult time.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2 id=\"h-the-news-comes-a-day-after-his-ex-wife-kelly-clarkson-announced-the-postponement-of-her-las-vegas-residency\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The news comes a day after his ex-wife, Kelly Clarkson, announced the postponement of her Las Vegas residency.<\/h2>\n<p>Clarkson explained in a social media post that it was necessary to postpone all of her August residency dates in order to be \u201cfully present\u201d with her children due to their father\u2019s illness.
