Country superstar Blake Shelton knows how to make a fan\u2019s day truly special \u2014 and on March 1, he did just that at his show in Greensboro, North Carolina.<\/p>\n
During his performance at the First Horizon Coliseum, Shelton spotted a heartfelt sign from a fan in the audience that read, \u201cMay I hug you for my 84th birthday.\u201d Sharing the moment with the crowd, Shelton jokingly remarked, \u201cHow are you gonna put that kind of pressure on somebody in front of all these damn people?\u201d before acknowledging, \u201cNow that I read that out loud I gotta do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Not one to back down, Shelton asked that the fan be brought to the stage. As his band launched into his 2010 hit \u201cAll About Tonight,\u201d the birthday celebrant appeared, dancing joyfully in the spotlight. Shelton set aside his guitar and shared a warm embrace with the 84-year-old fan, serenading her face-to-face with his arm around her shoulder. Mid-song, he gave her another heartfelt hug before she left the stage, leaving the audience beaming at the touching moment.<\/p>\n
