Sydnie Christmas took to the stage to perform in front of\u00a0King Charles<\/span>\u00a0at the Royal Variety Performance in London\u2019s Royal Albert Hall on Friday.<\/p>\n

The singer, 29, bagged her place on the annual show after her Britain\u2019s Got Talent win back in June.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

She joined the likes of\u00a0this year\u2019s\u00a0Eurovision<\/span>\u00a0winner Nemo, treble Brit Award winner James Bay and\u00a0Sophie Ellis-Bextor<\/span>\u00a0who performed her latest hit and much loved classic \u2018Murder on The Dance Floor\u2019.<\/p>\n

Sydnie looked sensational\u00a0in an embellished strapless gown with silver jewellery and heels.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0BGT<\/span>\u00a0winner was accompanied by Dave Arch and The Royal Variety orchestra for her award-winning performance as she belted out her song Believer on the stage.<\/p>\n

The annual fundraising event returned to\u00a0London<\/span>\u2018s Royal Albert Hall and saw a string of famous faces\u00a0perform.<\/p>\n

Queen Camilla, who had been due to attend, was forced to pull out at the last minute after continuing to suffer from some \u2018lingering post-viral symptoms\u2019 from a nasty chest infection.<\/p>\n

Amanda Holden<\/span>\u00a0and her TV husband\u00a0Alan Carr<\/span>\u00a0teamed up this year to present the highly anticipated show.<\/p>\n

The duo have won viewers over in their two documentary series Amanda and Alan\u2019s Spanish Job and Amanda & Alan\u2019s Italian Job, with the latter recently renewed for a third season.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

Their hilarious dynamic is a hit with fans, who love the TV personalities separately, but even more so as a pair.<\/p>\n

Talking ahead of the show Alan said: \u2018I am completely thrilled to be asked back to host the Royal Variety Performance so soon, what a compliment and an honour!<\/p>\n

\u2018To be able to host this magical evening with my best friend and TV wife Amanda Holden is the icing on the cake for me.<\/p>\n

\u2018If I have half as much fun as I did three years ago, well we are all in for a real treat.\u2019<\/p>\n

Amanda said: \u2018It truly is such an honour to be hosting the Royal Variety Performance this year. I\u2019m still pinching myself!<\/p>\n

Two days earlier Sydnie had given her fans a glimpse into her rehearsing for the show-stopping performance and described the incredible event as \u2018the one she had been waiting for\u2019<\/div>\n

\u2018This is a dream job and Alan is a true friend, we are already bursting with ideas and excitement, it\u2019s going to be such a fun night!<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019ve worked on Britain\u2019s Got Talent for 18 years and have been so proud watching all our winners perform for the\u00a0Royal Family<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u2018This year will be no different, so in the words of Sydnie Christmas, let\u2019s av it!\u2019<\/p>\n

Elton John and David Furnish also took to the stage to sing a number from their brand new musical The Devil Wears Prada, joined by Vanessa Williams and the rest of the cast.<\/p>\n

There was also an exclusive medley from Cameron Mackintosh\u2019s production of the much loved musical Oliver! and a performance from the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber\u2019s smash hit musical Starlight Express.<\/p>\n

America\u2019s world class magicians and comedy duo Penn and Teller flew in especially for the show, plus, presenter and magician Stephen Mulhern wowed the Royals with tricks and illusions.<\/p>\n

Cirque Du Soleil performed a world exclusive from their Vegas show \u2018O\u2019, and the English National Ballet will perform \u2018Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy\u2019 from their Christmas production of \u2018Nutcracker\u2019.<\/p>\n

Ellie Taylor of Ted Lasso fame and political comic Matt Forde also presented a humorous round up of the year, and were joined by writer and comic Scott Bennett and Scottish comedian Larry Dean.<\/p>\n

Lorraine Kelly made a very special appearance on this year\u2019s show with her Change and Check Choir led by iconic singing star Marti Pellow and some surprise special guests.<\/p>\n

The choir, made up of women who detected their breast cancer through Lorraine\u2019s campaign, performed Love Is All Around.<\/p>\n

The team behind the smash hit The Play That Goes Wrong also debuted a sneak preview and the first public performance of their hilarious brand new West End show The Comedy About Spies, which comes to the West End next year.<\/p>\n

And American actress and singer Marisha Wallace performed a show stopping number and also lead this year\u2019s National Anthem accompanied by the Fanfare Trumpeters of the Band of the Welsh Guards.<\/p>\n

The 2024 Royal Variety Performance will be broadcast on TV over the Christmas and New Year holiday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
