So I just always like to picture myself and think about before I knew him and that person I didn\u2019t know at all. And then imagine that now, he\u2019s my boyfriend, and I won [a country song award]. It\u2019s inconceivable that we would even know each other and be friends, let alone do music together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite their different musical backgrounds, Stefani noted how naturally their worlds have come together. \u201cWe have so many things that come together, and we\u2019re the same even with music.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-14\"><\/div>\n<p>The couple officially tied the knot in 2021 after several years of dating, and Shelton has spoken openly about the profound impact Stefani has had on his life. In an interview with\u00a0<em>The Good Dish<\/em>, he said, \u201cWe found each other at a very low point in each other\u2019s lives. She kept me from going to the absolute bottom\u2026 it was like literally falling off a cliff and a hand reached out and caught me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shelton added, \u201cI\u2019ve never had that with somebody where it just felt like, no matter what, she has my back.
