The 55-year-old pop icon, who shares three sons Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, spoke about the profound impact motherhood has had on her life.<\/p>\n

\u2018Being a parent is not what you think it will be when you\u2019re a little girl and you\u2019re like, \u201cI\u2019m going to be a mom!\u201d It\u2019s so deep,\u2019 she told Stellar Magazine this week.<\/p>\n

\u2018Their happiness is my happiness. Having any kind of sanity is making sure they\u2019re safe, happy and loved.\u2019<\/p>\n

She admitted the responsibility of being a parent is \u2018bigger than you could ever imagine\u2019 and she feels so much pride through her children.<\/p>\n

Gwen also spoke candidly about the upcoming 30th anniversary of Tragic Kingdom, the breakout album that catapulted No Doubt \u2014 the band she fronted for years \u2014 into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

She admitted she was still finding her identity when Tragic Kingdom was released.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s so mind-blowing that that record even came out \u2013 it took so long. And that somebody like me, who at the time had absolutely no clue who I was [and] what I was doing\u2026 that those songs would go out in the world and still be played and listened to and talked about.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s truly a testament to God\u2019s work and I\u2019m just honoured that God chose to give me those songs.\u2019<\/p>\n

During the band\u2019s hiatus, Gwen embarked on a solo pop career in 2004 and released her debut studio album Love. Angel.<\/p>\n

Her forthcoming album, Bouquet, is slated to release on November 15, 2024, via Interscope Records.<\/p>\n

The 33 minute album will feature ten songs on its track list and it is her first release since 2017\u2019s You Make It Feel Like Christmas.<\/p>\n

Gwen has released three singles from the album already including Somebody Else\u2019s, Swallow My Tears, and Purple Irises which is a duet with her husband Blake Shelton, who she married in 2021,<\/p>\n

Gwen and her ex-husband Gavin were first linked in 1995 when No Doubt opened for his band, Bush, at one of their concerts.<\/p>\n

No Doubt \u2014 her Anaheim, California based band \u2014 was first formed by the blonde bombshell herself back in 1986.<\/p>\n

For the majority of the group\u2019s run, the members have consisted of drummer Adrian Young, guitarist Tom Dumont, and bassist Tony Kanal as she took lead vocals.<\/p>\n

Gwen\u2019s brother, keyboardist Eric Stefani, was also a former member of the group when they began putting out albums in 1992.<\/p>\n
