Reba McEntire is returning to The Voice to serve as the\u00a0Mega Mentor\u00a0for Season 23, and the coaches welcomed her with open arms.<\/p>\n

The country music icon, who previously served as a mentor to Team Blake during the first season of the singing competition show, is offering wise words of advice to all the contestants on this season.<\/p>\n

Fans got a sneak peek of the upcoming knockout rounds where Reba has the chance to sit down with Chance the Rapper, Kelly Clarkson, Niall Horan, and Blake Shelton to offer the remaining contestants tips on performing and connecting with a live audience.<\/p>\n

In the preview clip, the coaches expressed their excitement over the opportunity to work with the\u00a0Country Music Hall of Famer.<\/p>\n

Kelly Clarkson<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Longtime The Voice coach, Kelly Clarkson, who has a long history with Reba, was the first to gush over the \u201cFancy\u201d singer.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo the mega mentor this season is Reba McEntire. This is the raddest mega mentor we\u2019ve ever had,\u201d Kelly Clarkson shared. \u201cSo I love working with Reba. I love doing it in this capacity because she\u2019s helped me tons musically as an artist. So it\u2019s cool to watch her be able to do that for other people as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior to their respective divorces, Reba was Kelly Clarkson\u2019s mother-in-law. The pair previously collaborated on the re-recording of Clarkson\u2019s 2004 hit \u201cBecause Of You,\u201d on Reba\u2019s 2007 duets album. They performed the song together at the 2007 ACM Awards and teamed up for an episode of CMT Crossroads that same year.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so proud of Kelly. She has grown as an artist, as a teacher from when we first met in 2002 way back,\u201d McEntire said of Clarkson. \u201cSo that\u2019s how long we\u2019ve known each other. She was a baby. She just matured into this wonderful woman that I am just so proud of and I love you with all my heart. That\u2019s my truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Blake Shelton<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Blake Shelton also has a lengthy history with Reba. The pair previously co-hosted the ACM Awards and spent quite a bit of time together when Reba was married to Narvel Blackstock, Shelton\u2019s longtime manager.<\/p>\n

\u201cBlake and I have been friends for a long time and every time we get back together it\u2019s just like we haven\u2019t been apart,\u201d Reba explained of her connection to Shelton.<\/p>\n

Having Reba on the show is a full-cirlce moment for Shelton, who bid farewell to the show after this season.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving Reba here\u2026 It\u2019s just familiar territory for me because we\u2019ve worked together a lot over the years\u2026.\u00a0Malibu Country<\/em>, at least two ACM awards, maybe three,\u201d Shelton said. \u201cThat was fun. Oh my God. And not to mention, you were my first mentor ever here on this show. Right? And you\u2019re going to be my last mentor.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat does that say about our relationship?\u201d Reba said, to which Shelton replied, \u201cYou brought me into this and now you\u2019re taking me out. That\u2019s what it means.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHeaven\u201d singer Niall Horan also praised Reba McEntire, saying that it\u2019s an \u201cabsolute honor to be in the presence of the absolute queen, Ms. McEntire.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m having a great time. She\u2019s so fun. Lovely lady. And obviously clearly knows her stuff,\u201d Horan added.<\/p>\n

The avid golfer and former One Direction member then asked Reba if she played golf, to which she jokingly replied, \u201cI play really good after one beer. I\u2019m Tiger Woods level at two beers [and] at three I better quit.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reba then admitted that her and Niall \u201cclicked the minute we met,\u201d adding that they are having \u201cso, so much fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re having a blast,\u201d McEntire continued, \u201cI love his team too. They\u2019re so sweet.\u201d<\/p>\n

GRAMMY winner Chance The Rapper was also thrilled to work with a \u201clegend\u201d like Reba.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s given me amazing advice and helped my team so much in a short period of time,\u201d Chance The Rapper said.<\/p>\n

The clip concluded as McEntire said, \u201cOh, it\u2019s so much fun to be back on The Voice again. It\u2019s always a lot of fun to give advice because I study people when they perform and I want to be touched when they\u2019re singing to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reba McEntire Is Serving As A Mega Mentor On The Voice<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Throughout the clip, several of the remaining contestants also showcased their excitement to work with Reba McEntire, including NOIVAS, Rachel Christine, and several others.<\/p>\n

NOIVAS asked Reba what\u2019s the best advice she has ever received, to which she replied, \u201cShow up on time, be prepared, don\u2019t waste anybody else\u2019s time.\u201d While Rachel was all giddy and said, \u201cI\u2019m pretending that I don\u2019t have to pee my pants right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reba also got emotional while mentoring Team Kelly\u2019s Marcos Covos.<\/p>\n
