<\/p>\nAs one of the latest celebrity coaches to join The Voice, Michael Bubl\u00e9 certainly knows how music can make an impression on listeners. Well, his knowledge of all things musical came with a surprise twist, as it was through his career he met his wife, Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato.<\/p>\n

So, how does a Canadian crooner find love with a Latina TV star? It turns out it was quite simple, as the duo first met back in November 2008 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the time, Michael was touring South America and had split from actress Emily Blunt. Luisana had gained success starring on the telenovela Rebelde Way and being part of the pop-rock group Erreway.<\/p>\n
The two were introduced and it wasn\u2019t long before Luisana became enmeshed in Michael\u2019s life, to the point of him writing his 2009 mega hit \u201cHaven\u2019t Met You Yet\u201d (off his album Crazy Love) about her. And when it came time to film the song\u2019s music video, it only made sense for Michael to include Luisana as his leading lady. \u201cI never believed that 15 years later, we\u2019d have gone through all the things we\u2019ve gone through and that we\u2019d have three beautiful kids,\u201d he told People in January 2022 about the moment.<\/p>\n
Fast forward to November 2009, and the couple were\u00a0officially engaged. The news broke two months later, and by March 2011, Michael and Luisana tied the knot. They first\u00a0wed in a civil ceremony\u00a0in Buenos Aires, and later held a second ceremony in May 2011 in Canada.<\/p>\n
By August 2013, the couple would welcome their oldest child, son\u00a0Noah<\/strong>. Michael announced the birth\u00a0on Instagram, and it wasn\u2019t long before they\u00a0welcomed their second son\u00a0Elias<\/strong>\u00a0in January 2016. But Michael and Luisana faced a major life challenge when Noah was diagnosed with cancer at just three years old.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US,\u201d Michael wrote at the time\u00a0on Facebook in November 2016. \u201cWe have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well\u2026 We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.\u201d<\/p>\n What\u2019s more, Michael couldn\u2019t help but praise his wife\u2019s strength when he was\u00a0awarded the National Arts Centre Award\u00a0in Ottawa, Canada on June 2017. \u201c\u201dThere are no words to describe how I feel about you,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cSometimes \u2018I love you\u2019 just isn\u2019t enough because what I feel is just so much more.\u201d<\/p>\n Thankfully, Noah finished his treatment after 18 months with a clean bill of health. This led Michael and Luisana to enjoy the life they were building\u2026 which came with the\u00a0July 2018 birth\u00a0of their daughter\u00a0Vida<\/strong>. Michael\u2019s rep told\u00a0People<\/em>\u00a0the name had a lot of meaning to the couple, as Vida means \u201clife\u201d in Spanish and pays homage to her mother\u2019s Latin roots. They later\u00a0welcomed their fourth child, daughter\u00a0Cielo<\/strong>, in August 2022, completing the married duo\u2019s family of six.<\/p>\n With such trials and tribulations, it\u2019s amazing to see Michael and Luisana so strong in their relationship. But as he shared with\u00a0Red\u00a0<\/em>magazine, there\u2019s a secret to keeping the romance alive.<\/p>\n \u201cMore than anything, my wife and I understand that each other\u2019s fulfillment is important,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cI\u2019m not saying we\u2019re perfect \u2014 nobody is \u2014 but we both have that understanding. I won\u2019t be touring for certain months next year because she\u2019ll be filming a movie, and so I\u2019ll be Daddy on set, and then she\u2019ll do the same for me.
