\u201cDuck Commander\u201d Phil Robertson Died On May 25 At The Age Of 79<\/h2>\n

Phil Robertson, patriarch of the Robertson family, is being remembered with heartfelt tributes from those who loved him.<\/p>\n

Phil, who founded the company Duck Commander, rose to fame on the A&E show\u00a0Duck Dynasty<\/em>.<\/strong>\u00a0The show followed him and his large family, showcasing how they ran their business.<\/p>\n

But even more so, the show shared the family\u2019s love for each other and\u00a0their Christian faith.<\/a><\/p>\n

Duck Dynasty<\/em>\u00a0ended in 2017.\u00a0<\/strong>After the show ended, Phil and his family continued speaking about their faith on podcasts, social media, and other projects.<\/p>\n

However, Phil stepped back from his\u00a0Unashamed<\/em>\u00a0podcast at the end of 2024. His sons, Al and Jase, revealed in December that Phil had been diagnosed with Alzheimer\u2019s disease and a blood disease.<\/p>\n

The Robertsons kept fans updated on Phil\u2019s health as the months passed.\u00a0In the May 19 episode of\u00a0Unashamed<\/em>, Al and Jase said they felt like their dad was \u201cgetting ready for the journey to the other side<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sadly, Phil made that journey on Sunday, May 25.<\/strong>\u00a0The Robertson family announced\u00a0he had passed away\u00a0earlier that day.<\/p>\n

The family\u2019s statement read in part:<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for the love and prayers of so many whose lives have been impacted by his life saved by grace, his bold faith, and by his desire to tell everyone who would listen the Good News of Jesus. We are grateful for his life on earth and will continue the legacy of love for God and love for others until we see him again.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
