Their son was named after Gabi\u2019s father, Merrick Dugal, but is called by his middle name.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\"><\/div>\n<h3>Scotty McCreery\u2019s baby news comes on the heels of a new song release.<\/h3>\n<p>Earlier this month, McCreery and iconic rock band Hootie &amp; the Blowfish teamed up for an epic collaboration. The country star enlisted the Darius Rucker-led \u201990s band to record \u201cBottle Rockets.\u201d In the tune, Hootie &amp; the Blowfish revisit their 1994 hit \u201cHold My Hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scotty reached out to longtime friend Darius Rucker to asked if he and the band would like to be a part of the new song.
