Blake Shelton<\/strong>\u00a0surprised fans with a special duet during his\u00a0Friends & Heroes Tour<\/em>\u00a0date in Denver, Colorado at Ball Arena on Friday (Aug. 20).<\/p>\n

The country superstar was joined by his longtime friend and fellow coach on NBC\u2019s The Voice,\u00a0Kelly Clarkson<\/strong>, for a duet of \u201cLonely Tonight,\u201d a song that originally features Pistol Annies\u2019 Ashley Monroe.<\/p>\n

Clarkson, who labeled Shelton the \u2018Prince Of Country,\u2019 joined Shelton on stage mid-show for the memorable moment where the superstar pair traded vocals and flawlessly harmonized to the popular tune.<\/p>\n

\u201cKelly freakin\u2019 Clarkson Denver,\u201d Shelton gushed as their performance concluded and Clarkson added, \u201cgive it up for Blake Shelton.\u201d<\/p>\n

Co-written by Brent Anderson and Ryan Hurd, \u201cLonely Tonight\u201d appears as the second single on Shelton\u2019s eighth studio album,\u00a0Bringing Back The Sunshine<\/em>\u00a0(2014). The song went on to receive a GRAMMY-award nomination for Best Country Duo\/Group Performance.<\/p>\n

Clarkson continued to gush over the acts appearing on the bill, including Tracy Byrd and Martina McBride. She even shared her favorite part of Shelton\u2019s show, which she admitted would have her childhood self freaking out.<\/p>\n
