Blake And Gwen Team Up Again!<\/h2>\n

Celebrity power couple\u00a0Blake Shelton\u00a0and\u00a0Gwen Stefani\u00a0have released another catchy duet together!<\/em><\/p>\n

The singers, who have six previous collaborations, introduced fans to \u201cHangin\u2019 On\u201d this month, an upbeat country song with a pop twist.<\/p>\n

Although the track offers a high-energy beat, the lyrics paint a breakup story, something Shelton admits his wife would not typically sing.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s so funny because she\u2019s weird about singing a song that\u2019s like, she can\u2019t find herself in the story or lyric or whatever,\u201d Shelton said Tuesday (May 13) on\u00a0TODAY with Jenna & Friends<\/em>. \u201cIt\u2019s a breakup song, but it\u2019s just so fun to sing with her. I didn\u2019t even want to record the song if she wasn\u2019t gonna sing it with me.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The song is part of Blake\u2019s new album,\u00a0For Recreational Use Only<\/em>, which was released on May 9.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t believe it\u2019s been four years since we released an album, and I\u2019m excited to get the whole record out there,\u201d\u00a0Shelton said in a statement. \u201cI\u2019ve always been someone who wants to collect great songs but sometimes the hardest thing to do is to find something that hasn\u2019t been said or written before or a melody that we haven\u2019t heard. I\u2019m always on the search for that. I look back over the years, and I\u2019m just proud because some of those songs don\u2019t sound like anything else. And I think we did it again with this album.\u201d<\/p>\n
