The Top 5 \u2018Idol\u2019 hopefuls continue with a second night of songs from the Disney songbook as America votes live for the three heading to the finale.<\/div>\n

\u201cDisney Night\u201d continued for a second night on\u00a0American Idol<\/em>\u00a0with the Top 5 traveling to Disneyland Resort and then taking the stage \u2013 this time to perform hero and villain songs from the Disney songbook. Then American voted for the Top 3, who will perform in next week\u2019s finale.<\/p>\n

Again, each member of the final five performed two songs, and Lin-Manuel Miranda, who was\u00a0nominated for two original song Oscars for Disney movies: \u201cDos Oruguitas\u201d from\u00a0Encanto<\/em>\u00a0and \u201cHow Far I\u2019ll Go\u201d from\u00a0Moana<\/em>\u00a0and who mentored them last night, made a special appearance mentoring them again.<\/p>\n

American Idol<\/em>\u00a0Season 23 winner\u00a0Ian Tongi<\/strong>\u00a0returned to make the television debut of \u201cHawaiian Roller Coaster Ride\u201d from the upcoming\u00a0Lilo & Stitch<\/em>\u00a0movie.<\/p>\n

While judges\u00a0Carrie Underwood<\/strong>,\u00a0Lionel Richie<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Luke Bryan<\/strong>\u00a0no longer have a say in who progresses in the singing competition, they are on hand to critique the singers and help guide America in deciding who is worthy of going through.<\/p>\n
