American Idol 2025 Top 7 RANKED. How would you rate the contestants? Plus Facebook numbers!<\/p>\n

American Idol 2025 continues broadcasting LIVE COAST TO COAST. On Sunday (May 11) and Monday (May 12). Both nights are a celebration of Disney songs. The Top 7 song spoilers are out now. By the end of the episode, a Top 5 will be revealed. Then on Monday, it\u2019s back to Disneyland and more Disney songs. The Top 5 will each perform two songs. Lin-Manuel Miranda will serve as mentor both nights. Season 21 winner, Iam Tongi will perform \u201cHawaiian Roller Coaster Ride\u201d from Disney\u2019s new movie, Lilo & Stitch on Monday. By the end of the episode, the Top 3 heading to the May 18 finale will be revealed!<\/p>\n

In the meantime, let\u2019s rank the Top 7. The ranking below represents the \u201cpower\u201d each contestant brings into the upcoming shows based on past performances and results. How would you rank the Top 7?<\/p>\n

American Idol Top 8 & 7 Performances Facebook Rankings<\/h3>\n

But first, let\u2019s take a look at Facebook Views. Posted below are numbers from both the Top 10 (Top 8 revealed)show from last Sunday and last Monday\u2019s Top 8 episode (Top 7 revealed).<\/p>\n

John Foster, the young country singer, is running away with the Facebook views. He doubles or nearly doubles the views of the second most viewed contestant, Jamal Roberts. Breanna Nix moved up into 3rd place for both episodes. She had been slipping a few weeks prior. Note that Gabby Samone came in 7th place after last Sunday\u2019s show, but that climbed back up to 4th place after Monday\u2019s show.<\/p>\n

\"American<\/p>\n

Once again, it\u2019s worth noting that Josh King and Mattie Pruitt both ranked low views for Sunday night\u2019s show, and then ended up in the bottom 2 on Monday\u2019s show. That seems to be a trend. Josh was bound to go home no matter who was in the bottom 2 with him. The judges saved him once at the Top 14, they weren\u2019t going to save him again.<\/p>\n

Note that Thunderstorm Artis and Slater Nalley had the lowest number of views from Monday night\u2019s show. Will they leave the competition on Sunday? I would not be surprised. Thunderstorm\u2019s Sunday views improved after several weeks of low views. Slater also struggles week to week. At this point a John-Jamal-Breanna-Gabby-Mattie Top 5 seems reasonable. However, Slater or Thunderstorm could sneak in there instead of Mattie (she had to be saved last week, after all). John-Jamal-Breanna could very well be the Top 3 going into the May 18 finale.<\/p>\n

      Mattie holds the number 7 spot after the judges needed to save her last Monday. She may advance to the Top 5 anyway. That Top 5 spot is going to come down to either her, Thunderstorm or Slater. It depends on performances, performance order, etc. Mattie\u2019s Top 7 song pick is Remember Me from\u00a0Co<\/em>co. It\u2019s an emotional ballad, and if she connects to the audience\u2013a thing she struggles to do at times\u2013she could advance to the next round.<\/p>\n

      6. Thunderstorm Artis<\/h3>\n

      As previously mentioned, Thunderstorm is either in the middle or bottom when it comes to Facebook views. His song choice for Top 7 is Colors of the Wind from\u00a0Pocahontas<\/em>. It\u2019s a boring song choice. But Thunderstorm does have a knack for putting his own spin on songs. The judges seem to love him and may keep hyping him to advance.<\/p>\n

      5. Slater Nalley<\/h3>\n

      Can You Feel the Love Tonight, from\u00a0The Lion King<\/em>, is Slater\u2019s song choice. I\u2019m trying to imagine the song all twanged up, and the image is failing me. A better choice would have been a Randy Newman cover like You\u2019ve Got A Friend in Me. But John is already covering a Randy Newman song.<\/p>\n

      4. Gabby Samone<\/h3>\n

      Gabby\u2019s Top 7 song pick, How Far I\u2019ll Go from\u00a0Mulan<\/em>\u00a0has been covered a bunch on Idol, but it\u2019s a good song pick for her. She\u2019ll have no trouble breathing new life into the song. If she\u2019s eliminated on Sunday, that will certainly be a shock boot. She\u2019s been consistently terrific all season.<\/p>\n

      \"TOP<\/p>\n

      3. Breanna Nix<\/h3>\n

      Breanna\u2019s Top 7 song pick, Reflection from\u00a0Mulan<\/em>, has the potential to serve as a huge showstopper for the big voiced singer. She has pipes so sturdy and rangy she rarely falters. She\u2019s Top 5 for sure.<\/p>\n

      \"What<\/p>\n

      2. Jamal Roberts<\/h3>\n

      Could Jamal win it all? Never say never. John probably has this, but Jamal is the best all round talent left in the competition. He can sing, dance, deliver an emotional ballad. He can do it ALL. He\u2019s my pick to win. This week, he swings for the fences with I Can Go the Distance from\u00a0Hercules<\/em>. All of his performances tend to be \u201cmoments\u201d but Sunday could be huge.<\/p>\n

      \"Meridian<\/p>\n

      1. John Foster<\/h3>\n

      At this point, the competition is John\u2019s to lose. He\u2019s so popular, it probably doesn\u2019t matter what he sings. His Top 7 song pick, Almost There from\u00a0The Princess and the Frog<\/em>\u00a0will probably not be a huge moment for the singer. But it has the potential to show off John\u2019s irresistible charm.<\/p>\n
