When you get asked about that, what are your initial thoughts and obviously, if it\u2019s at the White House, there\u2019s gonna be some sort of political potential conversation surrounding it. What are you hoping of the event, and what are you most excited about to get out there? \u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zac said it best too as he said,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cI\u2019m there for the troops, man. I\u2019m there to honor America. This is patriotism, not politics for me. F*ck all the division. I don\u2019t believe in that. I love this country, I love all the people that have sacrificed so I can live my American dream and that everyone who lives here gets the chance to do that if they work hard, make the right decisions.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"Bio2Aq37\"><\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/zac-brown-freedom250.jpg?w=1581&amp;h=1054&amp;crop=1\" alt=\"Zac Brown's Anthem Performance at UFC White House Wasn't Patriotic\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Celebrating our country when asked to do so should have nothing to do with politics. And Zac touched on that as well saying,\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cIt doesn\u2019t have a place in politics for me. There are gonna be 8,000 active duty service members that are gonna be there, I\u2019m a massive UFC fan\u2026it\u2019s my favorite sport.
