Blake Shelton Dropped His Single \u201cTexas\u201d In November, Marking His First Solo Release In Over Two Years.<\/h2>\n

Last year, after 23 years with Warner Music Nashville, Blake Shelton made a major career move by signing with a new label, BBR Music Group\/BMG Nashville. Not long after the switch, he announced the release of his new single, \u201cTexas.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shelton credits fellow artist\u00a0Post Malone\u00a0for inspiring him to kick off this new chapter of his career with a new single.<\/strong>\u00a0In an interview with\u00a0PEOPLE, he shared that working on their duet \u201cPour Me a Drink\u201d motivated him to get back into the studio, especially after the track climbed to No. 1 on the Country Airplay charts.<\/p>\n
