These are just a few of dozens of different scenes in the new \u201cForever Country\u201d video, making its grand debut tonight.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dollyparton.com\/dp-uploads\/2016\/09\/ForeverCountry-Feature1.jpg\" alt=\"CMA 50th &quot;Forever Country&quot; Epic Video Feat. Dolly Parton\" \/><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-4\"><\/div>\n<p>The collaboration \u2014 a medley\/mashup of John Denver\u2019s \u201cTake Me Home, Country Roads,\u201d\u00a0Dolly Parton\u2018s \u201cI Will Always Love You\u201d and Willie Nelson\u2019s \u201cOn the Road Again\u201d \u2014 was recorded in celebration of the 50th annual CMA Awards, which broadcast live from Nashville November 2nd. Thirty celebrated country stars trade lines on the three tunes \u2014 which were all, not coincidentally, originally recorded by former CMA Entertainer of the Year winners. I\u2019m supposed to be emoting and I\u2019m really just going, \u2018This is so cool!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-6\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cForever Country\u201d has already topped several charts since its release last week. It was produced by decorated songwriter Shane McAnally, with its magical video directed by Joseph Kahn. McAnally is a co-writer on such future classics as Kacey Musgraves\u2019 \u201cFollow Your Arrow,\u201d Miranda Lambert\u2019s \u201cMama\u2019s Broken Heart\u201d and Kenny Chesney\u2019s \u201cAmerican Kids\u201d (just to name a few in a long, long list of hits). Kahn, who used the magic of a green screen to create all the picturesque scenes in the Nashville-shot video, has been behind the lens of music videos by the likes of Britney Spears, 50 Cent, Eminem and Katy Perry.
