COUNTRY music icon Alan Jackson is getting one final encore \u2013 and the man who brought Taylor Swift\u2019s Eras empire to movie screens is helping bring his last bow to life.<\/p>\n

NBC\u00a0officially announced that the music legend\u2019s final concert ever will air as a primetime television event titled\u00a0Alan Jackson: The Last Show.<\/p>\n

The NBC special will document the Little Bitty chart-topper\u2019s farewell performance in Nashville on June 27.<\/p>\n

And in a major crossover moment, the special will be directed by Sam Wrench, the filmmaker who helmed\u00a0Taylor\u2018s blockbuster\u00a0Eras Tour concert\u00a0movie.<\/p>\n

Sam has quickly become one of\u00a0Hollywood\u2019s go-to masterminds for turning live music moments into massive cultural events, also directing projects tied to artists including\u00a0Billie Eilish,\u00a0Lizzo\u00a0and the\u00a0Hannah Montana 20th anniversary celebration.<\/p>\n

Now, he\u2019s taking on one of country music\u2019s most emotional goodbye performances.<\/p>\n

Alan, 67, will close out his Last Call: One More for the Road Tour with the sold-out Nashville show, marking the end of his touring career after years of health struggles.<\/p>\n

The Chattahoochee singer revealed in 2021 that he had been battling Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a degenerative nerve condition that affects balance and mobility and has made performing increasingly difficult.<\/p>\n

Fans are now expecting an Eras-style sendoff extravaganza for the famous cowboy thanks to Sam\u2019s involvement.<\/p>\n

Taylor\u2019s\u00a0Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie shattered records after turning the pop superstar\u2019s concert into a global box office event, with fans obsessing over every surprise song, emotional speech and final bow throughout the historic run.<\/p>\n

Now Alan appears poised to get his own \u201clast era\u201d television moment \u2014 ten gallon hat included.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0Variety, the NBC special will feature celebrity tributes, backstage moments and performances celebrating Alan\u2019s decades-long impact on country music.<\/p>\n

Few artists have earned a sendoff this big but following Alan\u2019s historic decades-long career, a massive farewell is fitting.<\/p>\n

After exploding onto the scene in the late 1980s, Alan became one of country music\u2019s defining voices with smash hits including Remember When, Itty Bitty, Livin\u2019 on Love, Where Were You (When the World Stopped Turning) and It\u2019s Five O\u2019Clock Somewhere.<\/p>\n

Across nearly 40 years in the industry, the\u00a0Georgia\u00a0native sold millions of albums, won multiple Grammy Awards, scored dozens of number 1 hits and earned induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

Known for sticking to his traditional country roots while the genre evolved around him, Alan became one of Nashville\u2019s most respected singer-songwriters \u2013 and one of its most beloved stars.<\/p>\n

Now, with The Last Show, fans and fellow artists alike are emotional for one final goodbye from a music giant.<\/p>\n
