The Britain\u2019s Got Talent 2026 final has arrived and one magician has been described as \u201cincredible\u201d even though one trick left some fans baffled.<\/p>\n

Ten acts returned for this evening\u2019s\u00a0BGT\u00a0grand finale on Saturday, 30 May, on\u00a0ITV, including 17-year-old magician Rafferty Coope, who says his aim is simply to bring joy to people.<\/p>\n

During his final performance, he attempted to convey this message once more, beginning by asking judges\u00a0Alesha Dixon\u00a0and\u00a0KSI\u00a0to select raffle tickets from a bag.<\/p>\n

They announced the ticket numbers, which Rafferty then inscribed on top of a grand piano as 371415, before rotating the piano and declaring that it spelled out \u201csmile\u201d.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, viewers were swift to take to X to point out that it didn\u2019t spell smile.<\/p>\n

Many believed that Rafferty had spelled out the made-up word \u201csihile.\u201d One viewer said: \u201cTo quote Charlie Chaplin \u2013 Sihile though your heart is breaking\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Another commented: \u201cAh yes, that old saying: \u2018SIHILE! It might never happen!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

A fellow user remarked: \u201cCan someone tell Rafferty how to spell SMILE cause it ain\u2019t sihile.\u201d<\/p>\n

But despite the confusion over the word, viewers also praised the teenager for his performance.<\/p>\n

One fan enthused: \u201cRafferty Coope that was incredible how this young lads dose (sic) magic in such a different way! Incredible act who will go far in his chosen career and definitely made me smile!\u201d<\/p>\n

A second agreed: \u201cRafferty Coope is spellbinding What a remarkably charming act\u201d, while a third added: \u201cRafferty Coope is truly phenomenal and I genuinely hope he has a career after this as a magician. He\u2019s such a lovely lad.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rafferty was among the 10 acts who took to the stage for the final with the choir Jeremy Clarkson founded \u2013 Hawkstone Farmers\u2019 Choir \u2013 winning the series with drone artists Celestial taking second place and Anastasiia and her dancing dog Salsa coming third.<\/p>\n
