Gwen Stefani recently said a certain \u2018third party\u2019 has played a major part in making her marriage to Blake Shelton a happy one.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stefani and Shelton began dating in 2015 after their respective divorces, and eventually married at a ceremony in 2021. The pair met on the reality TV show\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0in 2014 when they both appeared as coaches in season seven of the show.<\/p>\n

An insider\u00a0told\u00a0People at the time: \u201cBlake and\u00a0Gwen\u00a0have begun dating. They\u2019ve been supporting each other through a difficult time and they\u2019re really happy together.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is thrilled because they\u2019re both incredibly nice people.\u201d<\/p>\n

Well, safe to say that 10 years on, their\u00a0relationship\u00a0still seems pretty strong, and the \u2018Hollaback girl\u2019 singer has now dished out her guidance. For the couple, the key is apparently a \u2018third party\u2019 in the form of God.<\/p>\n

During a recent appearance on\u00a0The\u00a0<\/em>Drew Barrymore<\/em>\u00a0Show,\u00a0<\/em>when asked what the \u2018best advice she\u2019s ever received on love\u2019 was, she answered: \u201cBest advice would probably be, make sure you have a third party,\u201d before pointing to the heavens above.<\/p>\n

Stefani has been open about her faith for years now, even promoting Catholic prayer app Hallow during the holiday season.<\/p>\n

In the interview, she also spoke further about home life with her husband.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have the dogs right here; we have two couches \u2026 Blake\u2019s on that couch and we\u2019re like, \u2018Hi\u2019,\u201d the singer explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would sit next to him but he\u2019s gigantic and we don\u2019t fit anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stefani has three sons from a previous marriage, and Shelton has seemingly taken on a prominent role as stepfather.<\/p>\n

He even stepped back as a coach for\u00a0The Voice<\/em>\u00a0in 2022 to focus on parenting duties despite not having any biological children of his own.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I\u2019m missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that\u2019s our kids. This isn\u2019t about me anymore and never will be again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere during the interview on\u00a0The Drew Barrymore Show<\/em>, Stefani answered some quick-fire questions, where she surprisingly revealed her favorite love song is not by herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cShania Twain, \u2018Still the One\u2019 \u2026 that\u2019s a perfect song,\u201d Stefani explained.<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old also said she\u2019s certainly a \u2018date night in\u2019 kind of person, adding: \u201cI\u2019m literally like \u2014 couch, blanket, cookies, chips.\u201d<\/p>\n
