This year\u2019s ceremony was hosted by Queen Latifah and featured a number of music\u2019s biggest stars.<\/p>\n<p>Created by\u00a0Dick Clark\u00a0in 1974, the show recognizes artists across multiple genres. Other country performers included\u00a0Keith Urban\u00a0and Darius Rucker\u2019s\u00a0Hootie &amp; the Blowfish.<\/p>\n<p>Taylor Swift\u00a0led the nominations at eight for the night following her release of \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl.\u201d Closely trailing behind was Morgan Wallen with seven nominations.<\/p>\n<p>Country music heavily represented the 2026\u00a0AMA\u2019s, with\u00a0Ella Langley\u00a0and\u00a0Wallen\u00a0earning nominations in several all-genre categories.
