Miranda Lambert Was A Nominee & Performer At The 2026 ACM Awards<\/h2>\n

On April 7, it was announced that\u00a0Miranda Lambert\u00a0had joined\u00a0the all-star lineup of performers\u00a0for the 2026\u00a0ACM Awards<\/em>. Then, just two days later, we learned that Lambert earned the second-highest\u00a0number of nominations\u00a0this year, with a total of eight. (Megan Moroney\u00a0had the most nods, with nine).<\/p>\n

Lambert earned recognition in some of the night\u2019s top categories, including Female Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. But regardless of how many trophies she received, she was already a winner.<\/p>\n

Lambert currently\u00a0holds the record\u00a0for the most wins of any artist in ACM history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lambert earned her first ACM Entertainer of the Year honor in 2022, which helped her secure the rare Triple Crown Award.<\/p>\n

The Triple Crown Award is given to artists who\u2019ve won their respective New Artist category, their respective Vocalist\/Duo\/Group category, and Entertainer of the Year. The wins do not have to occur in the same year to result in the awarding of the Triple Crown.<\/p>\n

Lambert is one of only 12 artists to receive the ACM\u2019s Triple Crown Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Miranda Lambert Takes To The Stage At The ACM Awards To Sing Her Groovy New Song, \u201cCrisco\u201d<\/h2>\n

As one of the night\u2019s top nominees, it makes perfect sense why Lambert was chosen to perform during the\u00a0ACM Awards<\/em>\u00a0on Sunday, May 17.\u00a0Hosted by country music megastar Shania Twain, this year\u2019s ceremony was available to watch live on Amazon Prime Video.<\/p>\n

On May 15, only two days before the\u00a0ACM Awards<\/em>, Lambert dropped a brand-new song.\u00a0Titled \u201cCrisco,\u201d\u00a0the disco-infused tune is her first release with her new record label, MCA.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted something that feels familiar but also fresh, which is really hard to do,\u201d Lambert said in a press release about the track. \u201cWe leaned into all the things I grew up loving about country music \u2013 Glen Campbell, Kenny and Dolly; very \u201970s and \u201980s. It\u2019s a fun mix of all these sides of country music that I\u2019ve never fully explored before, even down to using strings in a bigger way.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
